Connecting with Ourselves

By simply paying attention we learn about ourselves. As we go through our lives, mindfulness allows us to observe how we react to the world and to people. Primarily we observe the stream of consciousness and how it alters depending on what we come in to contact with. How emotions are triggered and how our thoughts and emotions get expressed as actions. The we move on to see how these actions affect others. Moments from our lives connecting with moments for others. All interacting and affecting each other.

By connecting with ourselves in this way we learn how to let go of self, which allows us to connect even deeper with the world and with people.
